Stylish Interiors is owned and operated by Mathew Gubb. Mathew is a qualified Joiner in timber joinery and cabinetry with over 23 years in the trade.
Everything we do is built around you and your needs, be that family, entertainment, lifestyle, taste, style and comfort and of course most important your budget.
We are a small company, so the same designer and or Joiner can be there for you from start to finish, we believe that if you start taking on too many projects and having too many staff the quality of work and designs get watered down and you become more of a factory and less of a custom solution for someone. We like to give all of our attention to people and their projects to make sure they have the best solution possible for them.
We understand how exciting it is to start a new project on your home that there are so many things to think about and consider along the way.
Home Projects are a lot of money and it can be nerve racking putting a deposit down, on something that is not solid. That’s why budget is important weather you are borrowing from the bank or have spent months and months saving. We know how annoying and disruptive it can be without a kitchen or windows and doors, and like to minimise the disruption as much as possible.
We understand, as we are also renovating out of our work life and we will try to make the whole process as smooth and stress free as possible for you.

Mathew Gubb - DirectorOn behalf of the team at Stylish Interiors Ltd, I would like to welcome you to our web site. Owner/operator Matt Gubb established the company in 2010 after returning from working overseas for 3 years. While abroad Matt contained to grow his knowledge in the trade by working on high end homes around London, northern England and parts of Europe manufacturing and fitting custom cabinetry and joinery. Previous to this Matt undertook a joinery craftsman apprenticeship with a large company in the Wairarapa. Matt was promoted to leading hand of the joinery factory after completing his apprenticeship and spent 2 years in this position while learning management skills to accompany this. Outside work Matt enjoys playing rugby for wellington club, fishing around wellingtons south coast and Kapiti Island, also plays the piano and Djs at private partys.
